Blanton Construction

7:30AM-8:30AM

OCTOBER 1st

Since his company’s inception in 1970, Ben Blanton’s philosophy has been based on the belief that integrity and excellence are the keys to a successful and profitable business. Ben’s drive to control his own destiny and “do things right” were the impetus to striking out on his own.

Founded as a custom residential builder, Blanton Construction expanded out to commercial construction in 1974 with its first Burger Chef restaurant. From this first successful project he continued to be the contractor for Burger Chef until its purchase in 1982. From this single project the company expanded to other restaurants. Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Hardee’s, White Castle, Subway, Checkers, Jack-in-the-Box, ShowBiz Pizza, Cracker Barrel, Denny’s and others were added to the company’s resume. During the 80s Blanton Construction branched out to include retail chain store work. Blanton Construction has done work in numerous states for such stores as Walgreen’s, Pier 1, CompUSA, Payless ShoeSource, Blockbuster Video and Hollywood Video.

During the 1990's institutional work was acquired from numerous educational and religious organizations. Blanton Construction’s institutional clients include Lindenwood University, Christian High School, Landmark Bank, Mercantile Bank, Mark Twain Bank, Duchesne Bank, Harvester Nazarene, Harvester Christian, and United Services Agency.

Blanton Construction recently finished one of the biggest projects in its history, the $32 million fine and performing arts center at Lindenwood University.

Today Blanton Construction has completed or currently working in 22 states and has experience in several industries. Ben Blanton boasts that his company remains large enough to have the resources to meet the needs of our clients, but small enough to truly care about each and every one.
