Who We Are
Lives Transformed, One Story at a Time
Element Church began with a core group of 29 people, led by Pastor Erik Lawson, on June 5, 2005, at the Dale Carnegie Training Center in St. Louis. From the start, our mission has been clear: to create life-changing experiences so that everyone, everywhere, can know Christ, show Christ, and grow in Christ.
Just two months later, we began meeting at Destiny Church, and by January 2006 launched officially at the Chesterfield YMCA with 259 people. Growth continued, leading us to our current Wentzville location in 2008. By 2009, with more than 800 attending weekly, we expanded further, adding children’s space and eventually moving into our current 960-seat auditorium in 2012.
Today, Element has campuses in Wentzville, Warrenton, and St. Charles, with many joining online. Through every season, our vision has remained the same: creating experiences for life-change.
This is only the beginning. We believe God has incredible plans for you, and we can’t wait to see how your story connects with ours.
